Rabbi Eliyahu Sasson

Rabbi Eliyahu Sasson was born in 1988 in Princeton, New Jersey. His early education spanned both primary and high school in New Jersey.

Driven by a profound thirst for knowledge, Rabbi Sasson pursued studies at four distinguished institutions, enriching both his Torah learning and general academic foundation. He graduated from The George Washington University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and History, earning a place on the Dean’s Honor List in 2009. A longing to more deeply reconnect to his roots and enhance his Torah study led him to The Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies in Israel, where he immersed himself in Gemara, Halacha and Chassidus for two years, followed by another two years at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey. To further his academic pursuits, Rabbi Sasson completed a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Rabbi Sasson’s career in education is marked by extensive teaching experience and significant contributions to curriculum development. 7 years at King David Linksfield and an excellence in education saw him rise to Head of Department, Jewish Studies and a Director on the management team. Forging deep connections and relationships, impacting countless students and furthering the Jewish curricular and life offering at King David form part of Rabbi Sasson’s greatest achievements there.

In 2025, Rabbi Sasson was appointed Principal of Boys High at Torah Academy. His dedication to education, commitment to professionalism, and passion for fostering the holistic growth of his students are at the core of his leadership. Rabbi Sasson’s vibrant energy is palpable in the hallways, and his unwavering focus on celebrating each individual child is truly inspiring.
